Rona Posselt - FireFlyPartners
Our 14 year old polo pony suffered a freak accident 5 months ago, falling and impaling a stick through her head. We did not realise (nor did the vets) until about 6 weeks after the accident when swelling went down to reveal she had seriously damaged her hamstring in her efforts to get up after hitting her head and was completely flat on one side. Sarah began treating Mini who was very sore behind but also all over her body from the impact with associated nerve damage. Sarah was incredibly sensitive and gentle with a pony that had been through tremendous trauma; she also gave us exercises to help Mini build her strength up visiting regularly to help us progress. This week the vet described the muscle improvement as extraordinary and has given Mini the all clear to go to winter turnout. We cannot thank Sarah enough for her invaluable advice and support through a very difficult time.
Amy Crerar, Advanced Event Rider
Since treating myevent horses Sarah has made a huge difference to the level at which they are able to perform. Being a human and equine chiropractor myself I understand the importance of maintenance care for my horses in order for them to stay as supple as possible. Sarah was able to tell me exactly what I was feeling with my young horse before I had even given her a history of movements that he had been finding difficult on the flat. I would thoroughly impressed with Sarah's natural talent and professionalism and wouldn't hesitate in recommending her.

Calliaghstown Explorer (Tinker)
Sarah is an essential member of our team and has been of particular help with Tinker - a 4 yr old ISH getting fit for the first time with a view to eventing in the future. Sarah’s treatments, support and guidance are proving to be an essential element of Tinkers training – at 4 he is 17.1 (!) so needs a lot of time to develop correctly and regular sessions with Sarah help us make sure he is developing evenly while at the same time easy any strains and aches as his muscles are being pushed for the first time. Sarah has treated Tinker for the 6 months he has been with me since arriving from Ireland. He was placed 4th in his first ever dressage test and I know that Sarah’s treatment (3 days before) really helped set him up to move well and stay relaxed.

Sarah treating Spider - Criag Nicholai's horse at Burghley 2011
Back from a thrilling and rewarding weekend at Burghley CCI**** International horse trails. Saturday brought perfect weather conditions for the gruelling cross country test of 11 minutes 40 seconds over numerous challenging fences. There was plenty of thrills and spills during the day leaving only 58 competitors out of the 78 finishing the course. Saturday afternoon saw the stables full of sore tied horses in need of help to ensure they were up to the challenge of show jumping during the final day. Through hours of icing/ bandaging/ and walking as well as equine sports massage and magnetic therapy into the evening, and restarting at 5 am it sore the horses sail through the trot up and jump brilliant show jumping rounds.

Song For Gull (“Gully”)
Sarah has treated Gully several times over the last few months, he is an older event horse who is teaching me all he knows and he needs to be kept supple. We have found that it works to treat him on average once per month or between key events.
Before treatment Gully becomes stiff through his right side when he stretches to warm up and cool down and from working with him Sarah has found that he holds some stiffness behind the saddle on the right.
After treatment we hack him quietly for one day in walk and then he resumes work the 2nd day afterwards. His movement is loose, he tracks up instantly and he feels happier and is able to work much more comfortably after his treatment.
We are very grateful to Sarah for her treatment, it has made a massive difference to Gully’s comfort and performance, we would highly recommend her.

" Sarah started treating Gizmo when he was recovering for surgery and having had 3 months box rest. I was bringing him slowly back into work and Sarah would treat him every couple of weeks to relieve any tightness that we were creating by asking him to start working muscles that had been idle. Sarah could also pick up on whether we were building muscles evenly and keeping him straight suggesting exercises for me to help with this too. I could always feel a huge difference in the freedom of his movement after treatment and feel sure that the way in which he came back to work was greatly enhanced by Sarah's help. Our first outing back was 2 BD novice tests in which he won both with over 67% - better than we'd ever had before!
Watching Sarah treat Gizmo and other horses on our yard I found she had a great rapport with horses as well as a fantastic feel for picking up any problems. A natural way of talking with owners to piece together what they were feeling and what she was finding would lead to the best treatment for each individual. "
